Re: If Capaldi-era Who is crap, then what will you watch?

I'm probably better disposed to Nu-Who than most of the folk here, so I will give it a go. In the past, the only time the show because unwatchable for me was when Catherine Tate became a regular (shudder). Besides, if Capaldi-era Who doesn't work, there's quite a lot of other good stuff I can watch:...

Re: Who not Who

In the first quarter of the film, him and Bucky go to some sort of world fair thing and she is one of their dates. She stands in front of them both for a couple of shots, and you can clearly see it's her. It's just before Cap nips off and has another medical, where he meets the professor dude. (I'v...

Re: Did Lord Pertwee smoke?

Tom used to smoke as well- he said in the "A Celebration" book he wanted to be a good role model for the kids, so he

The most telling thing...

Re: National Television Awards

So NuWho beat Broadchurch & Downton... Well, whatever we think it proves the public still love it, and nice to see the 50th year rewarded. If Ant & Dec were cast as a twin set of Doctors the series would take over the world!! In fairness, though, I though Broadchurch was terrible. I'd take even the...
