Sad to report that Tony Scannell, best known as the fiery DS Ted Roach on The Bill, has died at the age of 74.   :(

Joel Schumacher has just passed away. I will admit that I'm not big on his films, but he has a unique flair in his films, and I will always respect a person for apologising for their mistakes on a film, shows that he takes criticism in stride.

Aw, no. I'm a big fan of his Batman films and The Lost Boys. I'm really sad that he's gone. He honestly didn't have to apologize for anything.

Found out about his passing just now. RIP.

His Batman films may be universally derided, but I thoroughly enjoyed Falling Down.

Phone Booth is great too.

I often semi-joke that today's movie-going public would love a film like Batman and Robin

Actor Philip Latham, perhaps best known as President Borusa in the Doctor Who anniversary special The Five Doctors and as Dracula's devoted servant in the 1966 Hammer Horror film Dracula Prince of Darkness, has died aged 91.
